I love photography and travel, I love my family, friends & pets, I'm a bit of a geek, I tend to be a bit shy, I am a story-teller, a writer and an educator
I really enjoyed this post. I had taken photographs for years before I started to tentatively share them on social media, initially Flickr. I take them for myself, to capture a memory of a place or event, to record something for posterity like a building that I fear may be torn down or the last journey on a train. It’s impossible, at least for me, to completely capture the beauty of a landscape but I can get something of it into a photo. Since becoming a blogger I have more appreciation of shapes and textures and photograph what pleases my eyes. If other people like it too that’s nice. I like to share.
