I won this dress and headpiece in a bushfire fundraiser auction. I actually have some grand plans for this dress, but the weather has not been cooperating. We normally have such wonderful weather in March and April, but not this year. So I figured I would capture something with it in the studio. It was at the end of a shoot with Emily and I wanted to capture something art deco, something moody and romantic. I adore those art deco lamps in bronze of the ladies with their dress and hair in the breeze, the posture so graceful. So it took a few goes and I think I got something I am happy with.
