What do you do to get rid of stress? Play or cuddle with the dogs or cats. Watch TV, jump on the PC, pick up my camera. When I am really stressed or anxious deep breathing exercises and other forms of therapy. I am usually less anxious when I create something so a combination of all of the above is great.
In the past people were buried with the items they would need in the afterlife, what would you want buried with you so you could use it in the afterlife? Oooh good question! Probably my camera, but I am sure I could get one in the afterlife as my version would sure have a camera store! How do I go on without my precious pets? I would hate to shorten their lives) I know ancient Egyptians took their cats, but then I have so many animals I have outlived, I am sure they are all waiting for me too. Ahhh to cuddle lost ones again! I won’t need money or clothes, my PC? Photos of my friends and family I leave behind, surely that is all I would need to take? Just so I don’t get too lonely. I have a few friends in the afterlife, but not many.
What’s the opposite of a koala? (this is strictly for fun. I know what I came up with as an answer, but it was nonsensical. Alaok. See? It’s okay to pass on this one too if you want) A bear that doesn’t carry its young in a pouch lol…sorry that’s really bad huh?
What’s the creepiest tech out there? (My interpretation of “tech” is app or program. If you know what “tech” is supposed to mean, hey! Great! Educate us. Those Apps they use to see where your phone is, check out WHO you are talking to and what you’ve been up to. It’s not that I have been doing anything illegal or shady, it just creeps me out a little sometimes. But then they are also there to protect us, so go figure. I guess if you have done nothing wrong, there is nothing to be worried about right. I am sure ASIO (FBI, CIA) would be bored to tears with the stuff I do and would quickly stop following lol.
GRATITUDE IS AN ATTITUDE
What method are you using to find your smile right now? Please explain in detail so others might utilize the same ideas. Some bloggers have shared a daily (weekly sometimes) method that they are using to keep their spirits up right now. I’d love to hear from anyone who does and is successful at it! Things seem to come and go in waves doesn’t it? One minute you are fine and just going about your life, the next you seem to be struggling and feeling anxious, or perhaps that is just me? I try to push through it, find something enjoyable to do. Remind myself that I am not the only person dealing with this crap and I have it a lot better at the moment than MANY others, I just need to stop sulking…and for a time I do. I had a great long Easter weekend. True I did not see anyone, I did not rally even speak to anyone, apart from my daughter and hubby. I wrote quite a few articles for Photofocus. I finished off my new online class I am about to launch. I watched TV (finished Ozark – really quite good), Hubby did heaps of gardening and I supervised. I baked and I did some photography stuff. I slept in a few days and just did stuff around the house.
Apart from that sit with a coffee in the backyard in a small patch of sun, just sit and soak it all in the flowers, the birds, the bees, maybe it’s your animals playing. Just sit and breathe deeply and relax, let go of all the tension, the anxiousness, the worry. Even if it is for just five minutes.
Failing all that watch some funny animal videos online…laughing will make you feel better too!
