It’s starting to feel like things are slowly getting back to normal. I had a studio shoot and an outing with friends. Restrictions are easing and we have been very fortunate to have so few cases of COVID19 here in Australia, one is too many, but we have done really well. Hopefully, we don’t get back into the swing of things and have another wave and have to shut it all down again, Fingers Crossed.
Time for another round of SYW…shall we?
What do you think of professional motivational speakers? Do you think they motivate? In gerenral I know they can get you amped up in the short term, but long term I am not so sure. It really depends on the speaker and the topic. If it was about housekeeping – I doubt it, but I have been really motivated by professional speakers who WEREN’T motivational speakers! Again, I think it is also dependant on me and my moods. But in general I tend to avoid them.
Do you have a favourite flavour? Chocolate, or coffee, or raspberry (or strawberry)…add all together and I am in heaven!
While out walking, you hear a rustling in some bushes. What do you think of? Usually a wild animal, unless it’s at night, then I am usually worried about some weird stranger following me. I have no idea why at night, I guess history tells me that’s when people tend to get assualted round these parts. So Sad. But generally if I am out in nature I would look for a wild animal. Luckily we do not have any real predators here to worry about, Kangaroos, echnidas, wombats or birds. Biggest problem we seem to have is possums, they can be big, nasty and really smelly! We do have some cute possums too, but they are very quiet and noctural.
What’s your ideal temperature (nature-wise)? Hot, cold, temperate and mild, humid or bone dry? There is never a simple answer, however, I do perform it warmer, just not too hot. But in gerneal mild and dry. I do not cope well with humidity and while I do like the occassional hot day for swimming or on holidays to relax by the pool for a cool dip. I prefer milder temperatures for exploring!
Attitude of Gratitude
Like I mentioned at the start of this post, things feel like they are returning to normal. My shoulder is feeling good and I am slowly regaining some strength and fitness. Although Sundays morning hike had me huffing and puffing and we did not go that far! Yikes. Oh well, perhaps another hike this weekend? But I am enjoying being back in the studio, and planning many things again after such a long break. It feels like there is an awful lot of planning still to be done, but I live for the planning almost as much as the shooting and editing and teaching!
I hope you all have a great week and keep safe…
