Friday’s Flowers – Leucadendrons

When Dad passed away recently I had wonderful friends who sent me flowers, so thoughtful to know they cared, but also to know they care enough that some still life flower photography would be just the gentle creative therapy I’d need.

I was given one bunch so big I could only fit them in a bucket until I split them up…these were the leucadendrons, which is a beautiful Australian native, a relative of the Protea family.
