Spring Outings – Australia Gardens Pt 3

One of the reasons I really wanted to go to Australia Gardens, was to capture some fabulous birds with the 70-300mm lens Tamron had loaned to me. Check out the flower in this post.

I am not a Bird Watcher (or Twitcher) by any means, but having a 300mm telephoto zoom, made it much easier to photograph them. Little Wattle Birds, New Holland Honeyeater, A Superb Blue Fairy Wren and I believe a Butcher Bird…

All shot with the Tamron 70-300mm lens. While it may be Spring, this garden is often at it’s best in Winter and Summer, not as many nectar plants on offer and not so many birds…but there was still plenty to photograph.
