Yesterday I featured the images of the Snow Leopard cubs at Melbourne Zoo, now I will show you some of the other animals we encountered. We never got all the way round the Zoo, but we did see most. Some exhibits were closed such as the Butterfly house, the Seal and Penguin encloser, the reptile house and a few others.

It was perfect weather and we had such a lovely time with my hubby and daughter and of course, my camera! Loving the new Tamron 70-300mm lens…or have I already said that? We spent the morning here and then went out for a lovely lunch. I have one more exhibit we visited, we spent quite a while there and I took so many photos, so I’ll save them for another post.

Wonderful photos. I must try to visit the zoo when I can get to Melbourne again. We don’t have one in Tassie.

Go to Werribee or Healesville I think they are better than Melbourne

I’d like to see both of them.

I adore Werribee, but we went there in June, so we decided to go to Melbourne. Plus I wanted to see the snow leopard cubs before they are fully grown

That first photo of the lion is beautiful. Looks like he is just enjoying a little sun. But the size of those paws…!!!
