It’s a weird, weird world, for a week Hubby has been in hospital with a perforated large intestine, rather painful and being treated with antibiotics and bed-rest. He is getting a little bored, now he is feeling better, still no sign of when he will be released, but at least no surgery (at this stage).
You don’t realise just how much the other person does in the relationship until they are suddenly not there. So I have a little more on my plate, but thankfully it’s a fairly quiet week for me.
So let’s jump in this week’s questions…
QUESTIONS:
If the government offered to suspend all laws, and law enforcement for 24 hours, letting you (and everybody else) do whatever you wish⦠Would you be in favour of it, or not?Ā Ā Hell no! People can’t keep out of trouble when there is law enforcement, I’d hate to think what fresh hell there would be without it. Looting, fights, and that’s just the start. Anarchy rules supreme. And whose rules WOULD they follow. Everyone has a different take on what’s good and what’s not. I would hate to see how far down the rabbit hole we could get in 24 hours.
What would be the creepiest thing you could say while passing a stranger on the street?Ā (Weāre suspending the whole social distancing and Covid involvement in this scenario) what about…”Psst wanna see a body?” apart from that, I am currently drawing a blank. I bet others will come up with really creepy things lol
As a child, what did you think would be great about being an adult, but isnāt as great as you thought it would be? I could do whatever I want…not entirely true is it? Get a job and have money, usually spent on food and bills not cool fun stuff lol. I could move into my own place…and do all the cooking and cleaning and paying the bills, yay so fun. Why is figuring out what to eat such a chore? Honestly when a plate appears in front of you you either eat it or don’t, but figuring out what to have and then cooking it, just takes all the fun out of it lol.
What, in your opinion, has been blown way out of proportion? The whole Bernie Sanders thing, I mean it was funny at first, but now I am kind of over it.
Gratitude:
Where is your āhappyā place?Ā Ā In my car on the open road. It feels like forever since we had an adventure. I miss the experience. I would normally have said the beach, looking out over the waves and the sun and air and such. But it is more than that. The feeling of freedom I get from an adventure, I miss that. But…I can close my eyes and I am back there. Or I can look through my photos or blog posts from any number of trips and I am transported back.
We are hoping for a few adventures this year as well. But with Hubby in hospital, things are a little up in the air. Not to mention occasional border closes and Covid-19 outbreaks, I don’t know from one day to the next what is happening.
I hope you all have a quiet, uneventful week…sad when that is now considered a good thing isn’t it?

I am glad your husband is on the mend. That must have been so scary…especially now.

Thanks, Julz for Sharing Your World! I am sorry about your husband, but I’m very glad they caught it in time. That kind of wound/injury can lead to peritonitis and death.
Your ‘creepy’ answer was great! A lot of folks have had a difficult time answering that as they don’t ‘think creepy’ in the first place! Your happy place is mine too (without the adventures). Just driving in the car makes me feel so much better. Your photography is beautiful and I’m glad you got a wee adventure to share with us through your photos! Have a wonderful week!

Thanks for sharing Julz.
I can empathize with your husband. Been there done that, etc. I hope they treat him well there!
Now I find myself one of those in the Covid danger zone, with a compromized immune system, I haven’t been out (except for treatments at the hospital) for almost a year. Getting back into radio and programming for something to do. Stuff I can do in the apartment.
Your Happy Place, just like me. Didn’t matter where as long as i was driving…
Now that First question, I agree completely! Wasn’t there a movie about that subject?
Keep well and Stay Safe
