Can remember 12 months ago, we were probably all wondering if we should be worried about this Covid19/Corona virus thing? Our world has changed so much since then. It’s been a roller coaster of a ride and I don’t like them much either. Still, the vaccine is slowly rolling out and my hope is this will allow us some sense of normality…eventually. I do fear it will rear it’s ugly head from time to time however.
Let’s get on with the questions…
Do you feel you ask enough questions or do you settle for what you know? It really depends on the subject matter, some things I feel I don’t really want to know any more, where as other subjects I am forever learning and gaining new wisdom. I feel that we should never stop learning, as one can never know it all. If you think you do, then you obviously know little about life and the universe.
When did you fail to speak up when you feel you should have? All the time. I am a bit passive aggressive. So I rarely speak up when I probably should and bottle it all up until I snap…then it tends to get ugly. I often say things I probably should not have, not necessarily things I regret saying mind you.
When was the last time you felt lucky? There is luck, and then there is luck. I guess I am moderately lucky. I have a nice house, family, car and stuff. But have never won Lotto. I have been moderately successful in my business, but not rich and famous. My body is falling apart, but I am still alive. I have great friends and a terrific social life (ahem, apart from the whole Covid lockdown that is).
What is a boulder? Boulder is a town in Colorado isn’t it? Just watched The Stand by Stephen King lol. Also it’s a rather large rock isn’t it?
We are once again in lockdown, perhaps it will only be five days, as originally planned, I guess we find out tonight. We need to learn to live with this virus, it’s not going anywhere. We can’t keep shutting down over a few cases (2 this time round). I know we have nothing like other countries but we were actually at Zero for ages, it’s the Hotel Quarantine for overseas travellers that’s doing it. Stop all incoming to Victoria, as we obviously can’t handle it, or send them else where, not a hotel which is not properly ventilated. It’s frustrating so hard to be grateful.
I guess I can be grateful I can still hold some classes, presentations and workshops via Zoom, I can still speak with family and friends via phone, and that everyone I know is Covid free.
