Share your world – 23rd February 2021

A week ago we were in another mini lockdown, only 5-days, but it so far did the trick, back to zero cases of Covid. These rolling lockdowns of areas and states and border closures are keeping us all mostly safe, but they are still such a pain. Means we can’t travel far, certainly can’t see my youngest daughter and it has been so long.

Anyway…let’s check out this week’s SYW questions…

Have you ever ‘butt dialed” someone?  (‘butt dialed’ means have you ever made a phone call that you weren’t aware of making, because the buttons on the phone got pushed by your sitting on them (in your pocket) OR having something in your handbag press against them?) Of course, I think it’s a right of passage for owning a mobile phone right? Maybe the more pertinent question should be have you ever totally embarrassed yourself? No, not me, but I once had a member of staff at work butt dial me while in the loo!!!!!!

If you were given 1000 acres of land, what would you do with it? Well convert most of it to nature (if it wasn’t already), I don’t need that much land! Maybe donate it to the local conservation authority? After keeping a small parcel of it for myself. I would put a house and a big studio on it and use the rest for photography…of course lol.

What’s the funniest thing you’ve seen on-line recently? Too many, the problem is I laugh and then forget, pathetic really. I am the same with jokes, I am so bad at remembering the punchline.

Have you ever eaten something off the floor?  ‘5 second’ rule applies or not (the ‘5 second rule’ is that if you pick up the dropped food within a set time frame, it’s still ‘clean’ and you can safely eat it)? Mmmm well I’ll admit it yes I have done it, but with four animals in my house, unless the floor has literally just been washed….PASS!

Despite a lockdown last week, things have been going really well. I did have to postpone one portrait session, but that was all. I had a great weekend and shot maternity images for a friend, then we had a family day at a local zoo. A terrific weekend. Then this weekend we are going away with friends for a few days…photography of course. The first of a few small trips away.

I hope you all have a great and safe weekend, stay warm if your in the colder areas!
