Another week and another round of SYW questions, so let’s jump in…
QUESTIONS:
What was the last TV show you binge-watched? If you don’t watch TV (congratulations by the way) what’s the last thing you binged ON? I don’t really watch ‘live’ TV and pretty much only watch Netflix, Amazon, Disney etc. So I will often just watch a show from start to finish. But that may take weeks or months. But I am currently enjoying Station 19, I also loved Bridgerton, Winx, and The Boys (on Amazon). It depends, sometimes I watch a lot other times I don’t watch any.
What’s your most prized possession and why? I guess photos and my digital storage device with all my photos. I could have said my camera, although it is easily replaced. Same with my car, I am lost without it, but I could have any car, that wouldn’t bother me. I’m not really a prized possession person. My hubby on the other hand has a stuffed pony since he was a small boy. No one is allowed to play with it!
If you had the time and inclination, what would you volunteer for? Maybe the zoo? I adore animals and that might be kind of nice. My Daughter is a volunteer at one of our incredible zoos and she really likes it.
Do you think that humans will ever be able to live together in harmony? Sadly no. I honestly can’t even seen harmony within my own family, let alone the rest of the world. Too many pig headed, stubborn old fools on this planet and maybe I am one of them too? I like things my own way and not everyone likes things done THAT way, which is usually where it all starts.
Gratitude:
Not sure if I told you, I was made redundant at my part-time job last week. All good I have been expecting it for like five years lol. I guess I am grateful they paid me to sit around and build up my own business, so that I am now ready to launch into that 100% full time. I wanted to leave awhile ago, but while they kept paying me, I kept doing the little work that was required. Just be glad to be leaving the politics and annoyances behind. I am looking forward to mostly being my own boss again.
I am also grateful that my hubby supports me and we are in a position financially where none of this is an issue. 20 years ago, I probably would have been panicking, my things have changed.
Whatever life throws at you this week, I hope you are happy, healthy and safe…
~ Julz, xo
Congratulations on becoming your own boss. The office politics are the one thing I did not miss when I retired.

Thank you Julz for Sharing Your World! The photographs are amazing, and you’ve certainly made your career choice a good one! It’s lovely when things work out and we can do something we love, rather than slog on at some job we don’t much like, just for the pay! I’m sure you’re going to be wildly successful and we’ll all be saying “Yes, I knew her when…” 😉 Like you, I don’t watch ‘live’ TV any longer, and it’s far easier to binge on some ‘new’ series I discover than have to wait each week for new episodes and developments! Have a great week!
