I’ve been a little M.I.A the last few weeks, as we were travelling. But that has now come to a swift, but hopefully, short end. We are back in lockdown…No.4! Can’t believe we’re here again. So frustrating. I had so much planned for last weekend and this week and I had to cancel/postpone all of it. But what do you? It has to be done. Sadly we had been almost three months without a single case and now it’s quickly getting out of hand. Finally things are starting to happen with the vaccine rollout too, it’s all a little crazy, they keep asking people to get vaccinated, but when you try there don’t seem to be enough available. Still I am booked for mine tomorrow, let’s keep fingers crossed for mild reactions. I’ve know a few people who got really sick.
QUESTIONS:
What activity instantly calms you? Deep breathing. Quietly sitting with a coffee, patting the dog. I’d say long drives, especially to the beach or outback, but they aren’t really all that instant.
What’s the most spontaneous thing you’ve done lately? Nothing really. I bought some flowers, but then, I do that all the time anyway. I did buy a new room divider for the studio, it’s so pretty. Sorry a bit boring aren’t I? lol
If people receive a purple heart for bravery, what would other colour hearts represent? (Example yellow heart = cowardice) Green for jealousy. Red for passionate. Blue for calm.
What is the bravest thing you’ve ever done or witnessed someone else do? The bravest (or stupidest) thing I ever did was get in a helicopter. I don’t think I have ever actually seen anything that brave in person, only on TV.
GRATITUDE:
How do you show gratitude to the people you respect? I honestly not really sure how to answer that. I guess it has come about due to your Memorial Day. We have ANZAC Day and Remembrance Day. I don’t really do anything. I don’t really feel perpetuating the horror and atrocities of war is really serving much of a purpose. Wars still keep happening. Apparently we have learnt nothing. But hey, that’s just my view.

Time for a nice cuppa
I hope you have an enjoyable week…I am going to be a little quiet, watch some movies, read a book…all while enjoying another enforced lockdown. Stay safe…

Hope that the jab doesn’t make you feel too ill.

Thanks for Sharing Your World Julz! I’m really sorry to hear your country is back in lockdown, and level 4??! Oh my goodness! I’m glad you’re getting vaccinated, and I hope your symptoms are very mild too! It’s strange, but having that shot is weirdly freeing. Tons of people over here who go about now without masks, no social distancing, and back to behavior just like before. We don’t learn very well as a species, do we? Your answer to the gratitude question was very thoughtful. Memorial Day in the U.S.A. was (at one time) called Decoration Day. Because people commemorated their lost loved ones and remembered the sacrifice they gave for America. I agree there are still wars and stupid people fomenting such actions, but remembering a loved one and showing that person respect is never a bad thing in my opinion. We’re all entitled to our points of view, and yours isn’t wrong at all! Have a great week, it sounds like you’re prepared for this latest lockdown!

I got my first jab about St Patrick’s Day… Second around Octoberfest…
Only mild reaction, sore arm for a day and that’s all. (the Bride was the same.)
Here’s hoping all goes well for you.
