I know I’ve been a bit light on the ground in the blog of late, sorry about that, just been super busy, but I try to pop in and read a few blogs now and then. I still love reading everyone’s posts…I just can’t seem to find as much time as I like. But know I will probably keep enjoying everything, even if I don’t always see it all π
I haven’t really posted much lately either, I promise to get back into it soon…for now let’s get into Melanie’s SYW (which I seem to keep missing).
QUESTIONS:
Is there inherent order inΒ natureΒ or is it all chaos and chance? I think there is a little of both, and at times while it might seem chaos, there is a structure or pattern there, we just can’t see it.
What is infinity? My list of chores???? Seriously they just go on and on and on. I guess that’s what infinity is…going on forever and ever.
Does observation alter an event? Totally, you are there, therefore you have already altered an event, even if only infinitesimally, you have still altered it. If they don’t know you’re there I think it still has am impact. Like when you can ‘feel’ eyes on you, you act different, right?
Do you like balloons?Β Heck yeah! Loads of fun…need I say more?

[Non] GRATITUDE:
Yesterday was Americaβs Birthday, does your country celebrate a βFounderβs Dayβ or other traditions like that? Oh yea gods, Australia Day is such a shambles here, if you celebrate it at all you are racist. It’s gotten to the point that just being born white I should be ashamed of myself…fuck that! I don’t get why everyone else can be proud of their heritage but as a white Australian I can’t? Don’t get me started!!!!!!!!! Basically I don’t care what your skin colour is or where you came from if you’re nice, I’ll be nice, if you’re a dick…well I won’t be nice either!
I know I know I usually show some gratitude here and I do have plenty…been very busy with work, loads of awards, magazine features and covers. It’s all wonderful. I’m not in lockdown and most of Australia (apart from NSW) is now out too…for now.
I just spent the day out with a photographer friend, testing some new lenses…so yes there IS lots to be grateful for.
Have a great week…

Thanks, Julz for Sharing Your World. I am SO GLAD you wrote that paragraph about being a white Australian. Granted it’s not that bad in the U.S., but one does get shamed for being white. Discrimination is discrimination, and if one is black or brown or yellow, and one does it, THEY’RE just as racist as a white person who discriminates against them. Obviously my point of view isn’t very popular. I’m not racist in the slightest and will get a bit feisty if someone tries to pin such a label o0n me. So good for you for saying something! That’s just awful that a holiday (as such) can’t be celebrated because someone feels slighted by past acts. We do get that from the black population of course, it seems that they’re entitled to feel persecuted because slavery was an issue in the past. My ancestors were persecuted too, for religious reasons, and I don’t see anyone blathering on about “Mormon Lives Matter” (sorry that’s a hot button with me). ALL lives matter, and getting beyond the stereotyping and judging on external factors is the beginning of getting along. Sorry, that was a soapbox, but I feel very strongly about it. I AM sorry all the same for your country. How very sad. Great answers to the questions, and I’m glad your business is thriving! Enjoy your week and thanks for sharing such lovely photography! (I loved the ballons!!)

Exactly….honestly it drives me nuts. I am not racist at all, but seriously where do they get off blaming the current generation for stuff done 100s of years ago?
