I am actually typing this early, really early. For what ever reason I just can’t sleep. It’s 1am and even though I went to bed at a perfectly respectable time, I could not fall asleep, so I got up. Too much on my mind. It’s been a rather exciting week or two. Lots happening, awards, magazine covers, holidays and such. Possibly over stimulated? Can’t settle. So I thought I’d sit up and catch up on some reading. So I am here writing Melanie’s’ SYW post for this week.

Okay we’re flipping things over this week with three rather silly questions and one philosophical one.

What would be much better if you could just change the colour of it? Green? It’s weird but I am not really a fan of green. I like green grass and green trees, but if they were a much more pleasing colour, purple or magenta? I remember seeing in a Star Trek movie (can’t remember which one) they were running through a red forest and I remember thinking, that’s pretty.

Do You Think Cats Have Any Regrets? I severely doubt it. I mean cats are the epitome of indifference, if they did have regrets, they wouldn’t let you know. Dogs on the other hand…dogs have regrets. Like ripping up the carpet, or pooping on the floor because it was too cold to go outside.

Do you ever count your steps when you walk? Isn’t that what smart watches are for? No I never do and until I owned a smart watch I never was particularly interested either. Now I am curious, but not a fanatic.

Is there a supreme power?  (you choose over what, and please be respectful) I think there is a supreme power over the universe, just not sure what. I mean there is sometime to the random chaos of existence; a power, a force. I’m not sure I believe in a supreme being who rules over us, I believe humanity has it’s own agenda. How else do you explain all the crap and bad deeds?

I finished off my Tax and turned it over to the accountant today. Granted it’s not THAT exciting, but I am grateful it’s done. I am about to head away for a week’s holiday, THAT I am grateful for too. I am happy for blue skies and sunshine, even though it is actually Winter here. I am grateful it doesn’t get cold enough here to snow…although we have had 0C a few mornings of late.

I am grateful for my recent successes and recognition, I just wish it had a few more $$ to go with it…

Blue Skies and Sunshine in Winter

And finally…my new armchair that I ordered three months ago, is finally being delivered tomorrow. Arrhhh the bliss. Now I am off to bed, to see if I can sleep.

I hope you have a terrific week…
