We have endured another week of Covid lockdowns, no real end in sight. They are easing restrictions slightly, but still can’t really work or visit family and friends. This is like lockdown 5.2…NSW is a mess and thanks to them spreading it back down to VIC we are dealing with it all again. It’s hard. It’s frustrating. Still I am lucky we escaped it for the first week when we visited Queensland with the girls.

So here we go, this week’s SYW;

Do you believe in second chances? In the whole yes, but I believe that some people are too greedy, evil or stupid to earn the right to a second chance. When it is so horrible it totally affects others…should we truly grant then a second chance. Small misdemeanours, sure. But I guess it comes down to WHERE do you draw the line?

Is your glass half full or half empty? Can’t it be both? lol Most days it is half full, but some days it really is half empty. I think it is OK not to be OK sometimes. Then there are the days when my glass is full…full of wine or rum & coke!!!!!! lol

Would you rather someone be honest and hurt your feelings or lie to protect them? This is always a tough one isn’t it. I believe the truth is usually better in the long run. Besides lies all too frequently get caught out. Lies are difficult to stay buried. It’s not always nice, but usually the truth wins out. Then I guess thee are little white lies…to protect people. Sometimes…just sometimes I think they are OK. But again, where do you draw the line?

When have you felt your biggest adrenaline rush? The biggest? Getting in a helicopter, selling my first piece of art, getting published in magazines. Photographing Crocodiles! That’s a recent one lol

What are you grateful for? I guess the obvious one was to finally spend a week with both my daughters and hubby in Queensland last week. For those who don’t know I had not seen my youngest daughter in 2 years! To be able to hug her, brought on a flood of tears…tears of joy. So grateful for that. Also an amazing holiday and great weather.

I hope you all have a safe and happy week…
