Another week of lockdown, it’s hard to concentrate some days. I feel scattered and disconnected. I try to keep busy and positive and Creative. I keep postponing work and trying to source other (online) work, but it’s quite difficult. But that’s my burden, right. Anyway here are Melanie’s SYW questions for this week…
Restrictions are being lifted all over the world. Do you feel it’s safe to go out and mingle in crowds in light of the Pandemic? Sadly we are currently in lockdown number 6, only allowed to leave the house for essential reasons; food, medical etc. I find I am totally getting OVER IT. Try to stay positive, try to stay busy and creative. Some days I can, but other days, I just sit on the couch watch Netflix and eat! I am not alone. So No I don’t feel safe mingling. I have my second vaccine jab in a few weeks, maybe that will help?
What are some things that are okay to do occasionally, but definitely not okay to do every day? Bushwalking and hiking. I will do it, but the pain I invariably suffer afterwards, puts me off my feet for awhile. How do I cope on holidays? Well we have a strategy and I don’t walk to far if I can help it. But I will if I feel I need to. I must pick my battles.
Would you relocate for love (romantic or otherwise)? We have often thought about it. My youngest daughter lives in Queensland and she loves it, we love it there too. My eldest daughter is thinking of moving, so if she does, we may too. Who knows we may retire up there.
Do you believe in any conspiracy theories (no judgment)? No…remember if you can’t ay something nice, don’t say anything? So Nope nothing to say here.
Please share something sweet I was in the studio, doing some still life, Dexter comes in with Chloe just to say hello and see what I was doing. Of course, he had to take a quick sniff of my spring blooms, just as I was snapping a picture…too cute not to keep. They both then decided I was boring and left. Nice of them to pop in and say Hi though, right?
How is that for sweet? Anyway I hope you are all safe and well and can enjoy your week as much as possible…
