I recently spent a weekend with a friend up near Ballarat, we’d visited the Ballarat Botanic gardens the day before, had a wonderful evening of just catching up, relaxing and such. We watched Cruella – Oh my, totally loved it!
The next morning we got up and grabbed our cameras again and just pottered in her front yard. We then headed out to The Mill (a wonderful huge big antiques and bric-a-brac) store. Where we happily wandered and shopped for a few hours. We both bought quite a few nick-knacks for still life and such. Finished off with a Devonshire tea. best scones I have had in ages….yummo!
Next, we took a drive to Navitor’s Bridge, Lal Lal, Bunynrong…chatting in the car and keeping an eye out for things to photograph.
I’m really enjoying using the Sweet80 lens for landscapes and such, gives a really unique look to the images. By this stage it was mid-afternoon, so we grabbed some lunch and sat in the car at Lake Wendouree, before heading back to Sue’s house, repacking the car and driving home. It was so nice to catch up and just relax for a few days.
Well, that’s it for this week’s mini-adventure, hopefully, we’ll be off on another one soon…
