Walking down the garden path to the studio, had me stop and go grab my camera. Tiny little raindrops on plants from recent rain showers, glittering and calling to me. So I grabbed my camera and spent an hour or so just pottering in the backyard, with my cat for company. The dog? He was inside where it was warm and dry…he’s such a sook lol.
I was playing with my Lensbaby Velvet56, gotta love that lens. Sure things are not tack sharp, but I never found that as important…I wanted the look, the feel, the emotion I discovered while shooting and of course, that lovely velvety blur the Lensbabies are famous for.
