Share your world – 7th May 2022

It’s been a busy couple of weeks, not even sure I can tell you 100% what I have been doing…just day after day has been eaten up. I have been busy putting the finishing touches on my latest online class Blossoms & Buds.

The days getting shorter and much, much colder. Winter is nearly here. I don’t really care much for Winter…lol.

So onto this week’s SYW Questions

QUESTIONS:

What constitutes a sandwich in your opinion?   Is it only the standard two slices of bread, filling (including spreads or meats and cheeses and veggies), put together in a stack? Love a good sandwich, ham and cheese, or ham, cheese and tomato. Fresh bread or toasted. Or just give me fresh crusty bread and peanut butter or vegemite…yummo. But I think you can put whatever you like between two slices of bread.

Are ‘strong’ and ‘tough’ in regard to character the same thing or different?  It all depends on the definition really. You can be strong-willed, but still ‘soft’. You can be tough but weak-willed.

What’s your opinion on RSVPs? They can be annoying, to be honest. I have an RSVP on my fridge, with a phone number. I have been calling for weeks and they never answer. I sent a text msg, no response. So I rang someone else and told them I was going.
Obviously, formal occasions require them, but what about invitations to dinner/movies and the like?
If a friend invites you to something, are you obligated to reply? Obliged, not sure, but I think socially it is required, otherwise, that’s just plain rude, isn’t it?
What if you say yes and change your mind?
It depends on why you changed your mind. I’m not a big one for social events, especially these days. But if I say yes, I’ll go, unless, of course, I’m sick.
How much notice is enough?
To RSVP or to cancel? I think a month’s notice to RSVP is fine, to cancel well I guess as much notice as possible. I had to cancel theatre tickets a few weeks back as I contracted Covid. Of course, everyone understood, I even got a ticket refund and that was just the afternoon of the event.
Is it OK to simply no-show to a casual social event you’ve already agreed to?
If you said yes, then I think it’s rude to simply not show. I will at least let someone know I can’t go.

Do you think Hell has walls? No…I am sure everyone would love to see everyone else’s torment. There would be no privacy from your own torment. No relief to hide away from the rest of hell.

What would you name your boat if you had one? What about Hope Floats? I adore the term, I adore the movie (watched it again just last week). I would hope that any boat I owned could Float – seems fitting.

What will finally break the internet? Man-kind. I think it will dwindle out in a post-apocalyptic world with no power. Or have I watched too many TV shows and movies?

If you had to change your name, what would your new name be, and why would you choose that name? Roxanne, or Roxy..such a cool name. I often used to get miscalled Debbie, Karen or Helen…I have no idea why?

What are some things that sound like compliments but are actually insults? I wish I had your sense of style.

If you could know the absolute and total truth to one question, what question would you ask? I have absolutely no idea…the meaning of life? What day I was going to die?

How many bloggers are trying to balance the likelihood that WordPress will hike prices against the near certainty that their computers are ready to roll over and die? I must confess I don’t really know HOW to answer this one?????

What’s the most impressive, or oddest thing you’ve ever fixed with duct tape (or something similar)? Clothes, boots, held corsets together for shoots.

That’s all the questions, so I’ll leave you with a little look on Youtube at my latest series “Wild at Heart” with model Andrea Gardiner and HMUA Teighan Felton.

I hope you all have a fabulous week,

~ Julz, xo
