We’ve just come back from another country trip where we did some sightseeing, as well as I spent a few days teaching. It’s a nice balance. I also started my “Over 40 and friggin fabulous” studio portrait sessions. I have met and had some wonderful women in the studio. Classy, sassy and loads of fun. I can’t wait to photograph some more.
So let’s check out this week’s SYW questions…
QUESTIONS:
What are three scents you like? I adore the smell or scent of Vanilla, also lavender – so calming. Cookies baking and fresh coffee brewing are right up there too. Fresh cut grass and the smell after spring rains. Shall I go on?
What is something true (factual) that most other people don’t believe?
Would you rather have a massage or get a facial? Well, considering I have only had one or two facials, but loads of massages – I guess the answer is massage. I adore hot stone massages – so relaxing and soothing for the body and soul.
Have you ever thrown someone a really extravagant party? Extravagant, no, not really. I have tried to throw a few surprise parties, but they are often more trouble than they are worth. They are a lot of effort for very little thanks. Honestly!

I am so grateful for everything in my life. I have the opportunity to empower women over the age of 40 to be sassy and playful and totally amazing. And I get to capture photos of them doing it! – Amazing.

Thanks Julz for Sharing Your World! Stunning photography, and I love the theme. Best of wishes for your endeavors to empower women in that age category – I tend to think we’re often overlooked because we may feel older than we are, and we lose our ability for wonder. You give that back I think. Good for you! Those are great scents and I say the more wonderful scents the better, so no worries at all! Surprise parties are tricky to pull off, but I’m sure the effort was appreciated, even if there were few ‘thank yous’ passed around. Have a great week!
