After a whirlwind week, last week, I had a lovely quiet weekend. We out to lunch with a friend for her birthday. Spent a day on the couch watching Umbrella Academy (Loved it!). Even got to clean and tidy my house – OK, so not terribly exciting, but my house was such a mess and now it’s lovely and clean. So this week is a bit of a quiet one too. Mostly planning, writing, blogs and articles, catching up on tutorials, getting my hair done and such. But I do have a super busy weekend planned. Can’t wait to share it with you all next week.
So onto this week’s SYW questions…
QUESTIONS:
What do you think it means to be healthy? To be able to move freely, without limitations. And that is both physically and mentally. I am I guess relatively healthy, but getting around is getting difficult. My knees and hips are shot, bone on bone, I have arthritis throughout my body and the lingering effects of Covid don’t help. I don’t say any of this for sympathy, it’s just a fact. Add to that being overweight, the decline in motor function and even brain function left over from the covid fog. It all kind of sux…oh to be 40 again!!!
Is being obsessive about someone or something a good thing? No, I don’t think so, well with a person at any rate. I guess I am a bit obsessive about photography, but it HAS gotten me where I am today, so maybe it IS a good thing, sometimes.
After a disagreement with your S.O., do you initiate the makeup conversation or wait for your S.O. to do it? It really does depend on the fight, the reason and who started it. If I stepped out of line I will apologize first. Thankfully, we rarely fight or disagree.
Have you ever done something incredibly embarrassing in front of a huge crowd? Feel free to share details or not. Some things are best left in the closet... Yes! Sadly, but let’s just leave it there.
GRATITUDE:
What’s your sweetest memory from childhood? I do have a lot of fond memories. Just nothing I can pick just one. So instead I’ll just leave you with a photo from my friend’s garden.
I hope you all have an amazing week…
