I have not posted in the challenge for awhile……but back with this week’s fun letters, for Cee’s B&W Photography Challenge. I didn’t seem to have anything with letter ‘O’ from our recent trip, but how about a Paddle Steamer (PS GEM) and some large Paintings of People?
Paddle Steamer – PS Gem, Swan Hill.
Silo Art, Sheep Hills, Vic
So that is it for today, short and sweet. Til next week, safe travels and happy snapping…
This week’s challenge theme with I or J is a bit more difficult, in fact I really could not find a photo for I – it’s probably something so simple I missed it and have a face palm moment when I see everyone else’s post. But for this week I bring you an old jetty and an old jalopy.
Sometimes it’s easier just to keep things simple! I hope you all have a brilliant weekend. I’m off on a new adventure, chat soon.
This week’s B&W Challenge is all about things starting with the letter G or H; so off I trot, to find a suitable gallery – Hippos, ghosts, geese, happy, historic and heritage listed grand old Houses.
Historic Werribee Park Mansion
Here’s hoping you all have a brilliant weekend, safe travels and happy snapping…
This week’s challenge is E or F…….kind of feels like old school Sesame Street lol.
So I have gathered up some faces, feet, fences, elephants, flowers, fruit, Exhibitions Buildings and an Expected Mum……..OK so may the last too are a bit of a push, but they still start with E

I hope you all have a fantastic weekend…
Cee’s B&W Challenge this week is Cameras or Photographers, so here we go….firstly my photographer and friend Suzanne; taking her photo, while taking mine
A shot of the studio, complete with my camera, ready for a shoot
And me……….a photographer, taken by my friend Suzanne, OK so maybe not my best angle, but if you want to point a camera in my face, be prepared for it to possibly look like this 🙂 lol
I hope you have a brilliantly amazing weekend, I know I am planning on it!
Change of Perspective is the theme for this week’s B&W Challenge, so perhaps the perspective is not really so challenging for some, but for very much so. The building on a funny angle and not symmetrical, seeing the patterns on the floor caused by shadows from the front door…….I see them everyday, but barely notice them. Seeing my office through a book, looking up close and personal with boring mundane items in the bathroom, and shooting from the ground………..all a different perspective for me.
I hope you all have an amazing weekend…
Cee’s B&W Photo Challenge this week is on construction……personally I’m not big on standard type construction, either road or buildings, so I thought I would do some else……the stone stacks or Cairns are cool and this was quite the construction site, on Victorian Great Ocean Road, there are 100’s if not 1000’s of them.
The construction of the new studio was also quite huge step for us, and very exciting, the kind of construction you spend weeks and months planning.
The last one is a place possibly in need of some constructions 🙂
Cee’s theme this week for her B&W Challenge is Public Transport. There are two things which I do not photograph often and one is public transport. Melbourne might have a lot going for it, but our public transportation is not one of them. I rarely use it, and quite frankly don’t have much call for the images. I do have a few I managed to scrounge up, the first is a shot from the walk over at Southern Cross Station, where you can see the trains coming and going, and the others are the iconic Melbourne Trams……..to be honest I know they are a tradition, but I don’t see what all the fuss is about personally.
Til next week, happy snapping…
This week’s Cee B&W Challenge – is Sculptures, Statues and Carvings . I have noticed that I have not been doing much B&W photography lately, I am kind of going through a colour phase 🙂 So I went through my archives to find some sculptures, statues and such.

I think I inadvertently missed last week’s challenge as well, oops……..oh well there is only so many hours in a day right?
