Western Australian street artist Sobrane Simcock was commissioned to paint the privately-owned Tungamah Silos in 2018. This was the first silo to be painted in north-east Victoria, the beginning of the NE Silo Art Trail. Sobrane was the first Australian female silo artist.

I’m so pleased you posted this Julie. Until a few weeks ago I’d never heard of Tungamah. Then I learned that a distant cousin emigrated there from Scotland, served in WWI in the Australian Expeditionary Force and died in France in 1917. I love how the Web really does bind people and places and events together.
