A new year and some trips to old places not seen for a while, and some never before. We escaped the Melbourne heat and smoke (from all the bushfire blowing our way) and went to Yarra Junction in the Yarra Valley to visit the Blue Lotus Water Gardens , such a magical place to visit as long as you get there early and it’s not too hot.
We met up with quite a few photography friends for a wonderful morning chatting and wandering amongst the flowers and ponds. I took way too many photos, but here are just a few of my favourites.
We have been there before, but it was a few years ago, with another camera and a different lens, so why not catch up with friends and take a few new pics? Finished off with lunch and then home to run a few errands, before heading off again…but THAT is for another post.
