Monday’s Musings…

Sorry, it’s been a while. I have had some scheduled travel posts, but not much else. Things have been a little crazy around here. We had some travel in there and then lots of stuff in the studio and then I fell behind on editing. I also wrote quite a few articles for Photofocus (you’ll see them periodically).

I did manage to find some time to read, I have been getting back into reading again, as in you Books! lol It’s been so long, but now the weather is getting colder, it’s nice to curl up on the couch with a dog and a book.

So…what have I been up to? A trip away before Easter, then some home projects over Easter. We visited Phillip Island, sand, sea and surf and so wonderful landscapes, I’ll share soon. We have been doing some work in the gardens, while the weather was still lovely. On Friday it all turned nasty and we suddenly went for Summer to Winter in 24 hours! One day I was wearing shorts and a t-shirt, the next winter woollies and a coat!

There have been several studio shoots, a workshop or two and suddenly a few weeks slip by. I am madly trying to catch up on all my editing. The good news is I finally made the job the full time photography, been long overdue. Which is scary and exciting and kind of cool.

We have also decided it’s to to expand the studio storage, we have bought a shed and I can store all the tables and chairs and stuff that isn’t getting used that often, so it’s out of the way. I have also ordered some new backdrop rigs and backdrops, so Hubby will be busy over the next few weeks sorting all that out, which means I can play catch up and clean up in there, while I have it temporarily closed down for a few weeks.

Not much else to say for the moment, will try and jump on and share some more soon…
