Regular Random – 5 Minutes with exposure settings

Thought I might try something a little different this week. While on holiday we were sitting in the hotel lobby waiting for our driver and I was watching the rain. As there were no window panes I had a clear view of this frangipani just outside and decided to play with exposure settings to see how my new Sony a7ii handled various settings.

All were shot a F/6.3 aperture and at 200mm, I love the difference the ISO makes to how much the camera captures the raindrops.

So this is my RegularRandom for this week. Don’t forget the rules!

  • choose a subject or a scene
  • spend five minutes photographing it – no more!
  • try to not interfere with the subject, instead see it from many angles, look through something at it, change the light that’s hitting it
  • have fun!
  • tag your post #regularrandom and pingback to this post

Don’t forget to drop in and see everything else posts for this week, Desley has a super cute cat and some pretty little flowers.
