A slow week, to be honest, I am struggling to get back into the swing of things. One week back at work and I am feeling a bit off my game. We had various photographic excursions booked for this weekend, but due to Melbourne’s crappy weather, they were all canceled. Shame, but that is life. Instead, I decided to play with my new slow cooker.
Be prepared for an onslaught of recipes, and food photography posts 🙂 I made several different things which were all quite yummy. I still feel a bit strange with the thought of leaving it on all day with no one home, it seems a little dangerous, I am aware that this is the main reason one buys a slow cooker, I am sure in time I will be more comfortable with leaving it on.
The Highlight of my week was attending the Pop-Up Globe Theatre in Melbourne and seeing Shakespeare’s Much Ado About Nothing, with my friend Sue – such a wonderful night out.
Apart from that it was a quiet weekend, spent creating a few pieces of art, catching up on my Netflix and doing some wonderful new tutorials by Lisa Carney and Chris Knight.
Hopefully, this cold spell of weather will disappear in a day or two and everything that was canceled last weekend will be on again next weekend.
I will start my daily posts from our trip to Brisbane this week, three this week and three next week, as not to bore you with all of it at once 🙂
Not much else to say, so I bid you all a wonderful week, where ever you may be and whatever weather you may be facing.

Mmnnnn I love a good slow cooker recipe, although I tend to only pull it out in Winter. I made an Asian Chicken Salad last night, it was delicious! And I have the makings of a simple Thai Beef Salad there too – didn’t even occur to me to photograph it! I was starving lol.
