I recently went to visit a photographer friend in Ballarat for a few days, our first afternoon was actually spent scouting locations for various photo shoots we had planned, one such spot was Lake Wendouree, it was lovely to wander along the shore at sunset and view the ducks and swans, as well as some of the art installations that are currently there, such as jellyfish hanging from trees and a small house on the lake.
It was the first really warm Spring day we had had in a while, but they are coming more and more often now, I could almost feel Summer in the air, and walking along at dusk was just so pleasant.

Lovely photos. I haven’t visited Lake Wendouree in many years. I remember once going on a boat trip out on the lake which I loved. Then I think the lake almost dried up for a while, didn’t it? Good to see it looking so pretty.

Yes I think I vaguely remember hearing it dried up years ago

It was after 2002 when there was a big drought but I haven’t been there since the 90s I think.
