In the Studio – with Lisa

I spent a wonderful afternoon in the studio with a photographer friend, this is something we had been planning for a while, playing with bubbles. We had previously tried this month’s ago and had a varying degree of success, but wanted to try again, now knowing a few more things than we did last time.

• Matte Black Background (last time we used Perspex – too many reflections)
• Homemade bubble solution (last time was just kids toys)
• Bubble mix in black bowl and use a straw to blow bubbles
• Softbox and light directly over the top
• Slightly higher F/stop

 

Can’t say it was all a huge success, but far better than our last attempt, and are not those colours gorgeous?
