I was writing the date for the headline of this post and had a brain fart, was it really June? OMG, this year is as bad as last year, the days disappearing, true I had a pretty slack weekend and vegged on the couch, or out to lunch or dinner with Hubby and friends or went to the movies etc…but still it is whizzing by, isn’t it? So, let’s get to Mel’s Plain & Simple Questions:
What do fish do all day? What thoughts do you think they have? (Credit to the awesome Teresa and her Fibbin’ Fridays for this one) My fish, have a slightly different take on the world, I fear. You see, I have turtles and the fish in the tanks are there to entertain and feed the turtles. I am not sure you know this, but turtles are vicious killers, yes they look cute and sweet, but they are NOT. My Crush would give a cat a run for its money when it comes to toying with their prey! So my fish would possibly live in constant fear…sad but true.
On the other hand, I do have some ornamental fish in a pond, who seem to enjoy sunbaking near the surface and playing in the water splashes from the fountain, oh and being fed!
What celebrity would you have as a SPOUSE, if you HAD to choose? Jason Samoa, he is very, very handsome and is funny and seems like a really nice guy, and loves kids and animals and such. Oh and he is VERY handsome lol
What’s the most expensive thing you’ve ever broken? My Car? I had been working REALLY long hours one Christmas and zoned out driving home, I ran into the back of a car in front of me…I was OK, the car was not – THAT was a rather expensive day. I have also dropped a camera, fixable…but it could have been far worse than it was.
When was the last time you slept more than 9 hours in a stretch? Why? As often as I can! Last Friday I slept 10 hours, but then had to get up a few times during the night, damn bladder won’t see me through the night anymore…getting older sux. But I find I can usually hop back into bed and fall asleep again. After 9-10 hours I need to get up to stretch my legs and back…did I mention getting older really sux!
An Attitude of Gratitude! So far this year things have been incredible, the new business model I adopted Jan 1 is now really seeing some results, which is really exciting. I am a regular contributor to several art and photo magazines, I am now also a regular writer for Photofocus.com, my workshops are always booked and sold out and I am running more than ever. I had a fabulous month away in New Zealand early in the year. We have found Dexter the Pup this year and he is now almost six months old…still cute, but such a terror!
Quite frankly I have so much to be grateful for…it’s a long list. I have a wonderful Hubby, family and friends who all support me and believe in me, as well as a wonderful group of followers who cheer me on, and that list is growing quickly every day.
Well, enough of me prattling on, I will leave it here, as I spent four days doing very little, now I need to do some work. I hope you all have an amazing week…
