I believe I have saved my favourite for last. Completed in 2018 by artist Smug (from Scotland). Depicting the Aussie kelpie, a farmer’s best friend. The farmer is only partially represented in the image, with the attention placed solely on the dog, named Jimmy. The detail in the fur and Jimmy’s eyes are simply wonderful.
This brings us to an end for this trip and the silo art we saw. There are more installations around the country, in Queensland, WA and SA, and then, of course, there are the Water Tank art trails as well. I honestly did not really even know that there was a water tank trail, mostly appearing in Queensland, I think. I hope you have enjoyed seeing them, as much as we did visiting these regions.

I can imagine! The scaffolding required is probably also on an industrial scale?
