Now I am only assuming here, I could be wrong, but back here in Australia we refer to this game as Snakes and Ladders…….the theme for Cee’s Challenge this week.Climb the ladder to victory or land on a snake to slide down to the bottom; still the same principle?
I’d love to take a photo of the actual board game, but I cannot seem to locate it, even if we still own it?

I remember that board game. My wife’s mother had a phobia against snakes. You couldn’t even say the ‘s’ word around her. Guess they didn’t play it much when they were growing up. Oh, wait. I’m totally messing this up. The board game here in the states is called Chutes and Ladders. So, never mind! π

Lol… Mmmm I’m confused, maybe it’s called different things in different areas? Lol

No, Julz. I’m the one that’s confused. It says Chutes and Ladders in Cee’s title. But I didn’t read that. Maybe it’s Chutes and Snakes in Australia because you have such huge insects that you need snakes to keep them away! π
