As a child, the house I grew up in had Hydrangea and Geranium bushes planted all along the drive and near the front door. Whenever I see either of these plants it reminds me of childhood days.
I do not have hydrangeas planted in my current garden, as they just don’t suit, but I do love to buy them as cut flowers from time to time. I do have bright red geraniums planted in hanging baskets near the back fence, for a special pop of colour.
I thought I would share this image I recently took, love the old world moody look.
I wish you a wonderful Friday and a glorious weekend & happy snapping…

You are such an artist, Julz. I would never have thought to put a blanket together with flowers, but this is beautiful. The textures, the colors–they all work. Gorgeous photo.

A wonderful still life to open the new year with Julie. So dark and moody and evocative of times past. Absolutely a stunner.
